At some point in time, the artists were told to improvisize, without any script for some scenes, and within the scene the actors were told to improvisize as well.
Then it reveals that the director had a weird unrevealed personality, almost crazy. He also has some friendships with some of the actors. The director was trying to observe the actors psychological conditions when playing the role, would they be able to pull it off? would they be able to achieve the prestigious reward they were looking for? Or would it turned sour halfway through?
